About Johnny Wu, Founder and CEO of Quartzy Capital Advisors

Prior to starting Quartzy, Johnny spent 20 years in financial services across buy side and sell side firms. As Head of Cross Asset Solutions at Barclays, Johnny led origination and distribution of risk recycling transactions, risk premia strategies, retailed structured products, and exchange traded products. During 12 year tenure from 2005 – 2017, Barclays was known as one of the top investment banks for derivatives and structured products.
Johnny serves on the Board of the Association of Asian American Investment Managers, better known as AAAIM. In this capacity, Johnny is responsible for curating regional events in New York City as well as hosting the AAAIM HIGH ELI podcast series.
Johnny earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics – Mathematics from Columbia College and his Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Columbia Business School.
